Rotatable Magnetrons

for Sputter Systems

The deposition with rotatable  magnetrons has become the preferred standard process over the last 25 years. Sputtering with these components offers the advantage of longer target lifetime and thus extended production time.

In addition, this type of deposition offers increased process stability, especially when sputtering dielectric layers.

Magnetrons are key components at VON ARDENNE.  We develop and manufacture the magnetrons in-house. This allows us to incorporate the extensive knowledge we have gained through hundreds of delivered systems and components.
